To follow or not to follow?

The whole problem of managing “followers” on Twitter would be A LOT EASIER if we start by renouncing the foolish “etiquette” rule of following all our followers. In Real Estate the saying is:”Location, location, location.” In Social Media it should be:”Value, value, value!” Value added should be one of the primary reasons to decide to follow someone. Do you really extract that much more value from following 20K than you do from following, say 100 or even 10? Value DOESN’T scale with # of following/followers!
